T-BALL IS HERE! T-BALL IS HERE!!
Katie was SO EXCITED yesterday because her first t-ball game of the season was last night. She had her new shirt with her name and number on the back – “I picked number 1 because I AM number one.” – this child does not lack confidence, lemme tell ya. 
She also had new baseball pants to wear, and as any girl will tell you, ANYTHING is better with you throw new clothes into the mix!
So while the boys were at Tyler’s HS game (which got postponed due to bad terrible weather), Katie and I headed to the t-ball field and welcomed in the new season.
Katie likes to play in the field, and she is super competitive. I guess that’s what you get for having two older brothers. She has learned to hold her own! She says, “I like to throw people OUT.”
Here’s our little slugger! 
She said that she wanted to slide, but then kind of changed her mind mid-slide…I figure she probably decided that she didn’t want to get her new pants dirty. But it makes no difference, she got there and eventually scored so that’s all she cared about!
And of course, sportsmanship is super-important at this age. The usual lining up and slapping hands is always so cute with this age kids.
There is no score kept for t-ball. As far as the kids are concerned, they all won. Everybody goes home happy, so that’s awesome! Katie was happy when we came home from the game and can’t wait until next week for her next game. And another season begins…
