Our Family Project–Part III (The Reveal)

I’ve decided that Part III of “Our Family Project” posts (you can check out Part I and Part II), will be the big reveal.  Mainly because it’s getting pretty obvious what it is we are doing.  And that’s a good thing.  That means things are really coming together!  Thanks to my hard workin’ man, oh yes they are!!

So here is where we were just two short weeks ago:

 

Welcome to our new happy place!!!  Our POOL!!!!!!

 

Katie and Zach had to test out the concrete.  Do you think she talks a lot??  Zach’s body language says it all.

 

The pool, with an extended wood deck built off one side, and the concrete slab poured for the pool house/workout room (!!!!!!!!!):

So that is where we stand today!  Our liner just came in this morning and they are going to put it in, then the space around the pool has to be filled with gravel and concrete for the pool deck.  The diving board is here and the slide will be here this week also!  We are absolutely BEYOND EXCITED and can’t wait for all the fun family times in our pool!!!!!!!!
