“May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” Psalm 20:4
Hey guys! Are you back at work or school today??
Everything is back to normal around here with the kids very sluggishly heading to school after the 2-week Christmas break. The first week back is always so tough after having many mornings to sleep in and stay up late, with nowhere to be and no schedules to keep us on track. But we have 2 ballgames this week, a massive grocery shopping trip that needs to be made, and a fun trip to STL next weekend so there won’t be any time for a slow start…we are hitting the ground running!
Running? Oh yeah, that how I like it!
Speaking of which, I just got back from my mom and dad’s house where I did a rockin’ 8 miles on the treadmill at a 2% incline. It felt great! Which was extra awesome, because my 10 mile run that I did yesterday afternoon really stunk. It was a serious struggle just to get through it. But that’s why today’s run was BANGIN’!
I didn’t get to share with you yet about my Momma’s birthday, which was New Year’s Day. We had a great dinner out with the family (all but Layne, we missed you!) and enjoyed being together for the evening. Here’s some of the pics thanks to my sister Jessica whom I may or may not have stolen these from:
Our amazing parents! And their favorite granddaughter! Don’t worry, she’s the only one.
My hubby and I. Oooh look, you can see my necklace pretty good in this pic. I LOVE it!
Everyone enjoying dinner.
Moi.
And I chose to include this one because not ONLY is it a great picture of Jessica and Jason, but after Jason mentioned to me that he was devastated that he is never on the blog (), I KNEW I had to include him! I didn’t even know he READ the blog! So here ya go, Jay! Love you!
Brayden cheesin’ it up for the camera. Oh he’s just so stinkin’ cute. I can’t believe he’s almost ONE!
My handsome oldest, Tyler.
Jess and I with our Momma (again, missed you Layne and Matt!). Doesn’t she look amazing?! I’m tellin’ ya, we got some good genes to look forward to!
Alright, I’m off to finish laundry and get some more Upward stuff together. Practice starts next week!!! Eeeeeee!!!!!
Love!
xoxo
